Cookies are small files stored in your browser when you visit a website. Some are essential to make the site work; others are optional and help us understand how the site is used. We only use the cookies described below.

Essential — always active. These keep the site and your cart working, and remember your cookie choice; they cannot be switched off.

• fts.cart.v1 — remembers the contents of your cart between pages and visits.
• fts.consent.v1 — remembers your cookie choice, so we don't ask again on every page.

Analytics — off by default. Only set once you actively accept them.

• Google Analytics's own cookies (typically named _ga and _ga_*) — help us understand which pages are used and how, in an aggregated, anonymised form. Set by Google Ireland Limited; the cookie itself is typically stored in your browser for up to two years, and the data it generates is retained in our Google Analytics account for a limited, configurable period. It is never loaded on this site until you switch Analytics on.

We don't use advertising or social-media cookies, and we don't run any tracking script beyond the two categories above.

When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept all, Reject all, or open Manage preferences to choose category by category — Reject all is exactly as easy to select as Accept all. Analytics cookies are never set before you actively opt in. Your choice is remembered, so you won't be asked again until you change it yourself. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page, which reopens this same choice, pre-filled with your current setting.

The only third party that can set a cookie on this site is Google, and only for Analytics, and only after you've opted in. You can find out more about how Google handles data in Google's own privacy policy. You can also manage or delete cookies directly through your browser's settings at any time, for any website, though doing so for the essential cookies above may stop your cart from working correctly.

If we change the cookies we use, we'll update this page with a new "last updated" date.
