What’s the difference between consecutive, simultaneous and remote interpreting, and how do I know which I need?
Consecutive is spoken in turns — the interpreter speaks after you, suited to appointments and meetings. Simultaneous is real-time, spoken alongside the speaker, suited to conferences and larger events, and needs equipment. Remote happens over video or phone. Tell us your setting and we’ll confirm the right mode.
How far in advance do I need to book an interpreter?
At least 72 hours ahead, so we can confirm an interpreter’s availability for your date, time and language pair.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Free cancellation up to 72 hours before your appointment. Between 72 and 24 hours before, 50% of the booked fee applies; inside 24 hours or for a no-show, the full fee applies.
Do you provide interpreting for notary signings and Extranjería appointments specifically?
Yes — consecutive interpreting for exactly these settings is one of the most common bookings we take.
Is equipment provided for simultaneous interpreting, or do we need to arrange that?
