Pricing
Every figure on this page is the same figure the calculator on each service page will show you — nothing changes between here and checkout. Translation is priced per word, tiered by how common the language pair is; sworn/certified work carries a minimum charge per document; interpreting is priced per hour; extras such as an extra stamped copy or postal delivery are flat fees. Below is the complete rate card — language tiers, minimums, surcharges, extras and interpreting rates — all inclusive of 21% IVA.

Rates by language tier
Every per-word rate above is our Tier A rate, for the most commonly requested languages. Tier B and Tier C command a higher per-word rate — rarer language pairs mean fewer qualified translators available for them, reflected honestly in the rate rather than folded into one flat "translation fee." The table below shows the underlying sworn and standard baseline for each tier; our specialist per-word rates (legal, medical, technical, financial) scale up from Tier A in the same proportion for Tier B and C pairs.
| Tier | Languages | Sworn | Standard | Sworn min | Standard min |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| A — Western European | English, Français, Português, Italiano, Català, Galego, Euskara | €0.14/word | €0.09/word | €45 | €30 |
Norsk, Suomi, Íslenska | €0.26/word | €0.16/word | €80 | €55 |
33 language pairs across the three tiers, all shown here before you order — not reserved for after a phone call.
Document minimums
Tier A — sworn min €45 · standard min €30 · Tier B — sworn min €60 · standard min €40 · Tier C — sworn min €80 · standard min €55. The minimum applies per document up to 300 words; above that, you pay per word.

How you pay
All prices on this page and throughout the site include 21% Spanish IVA. If you're ordering as a business registered for VAT outside Spain, enter your EU VAT number at checkout to have IVA removed under the reverse-charge mechanism. You can pay online by card, or by bank transfer — choosing bank transfer marks your order "awaiting transfer" until the payment arrives, and your account details and order reference appear on your order confirmation page so you can start the transfer straight away.
Pricing questions
Do surcharges stack if my document is both urgent and scanned?
Yes — each surcharge applies independently on top of the base rate. A same-day Tier A order (+60%) from a scanned source (+15%) shows both percentages applied before you pay, never bundled into one unexplained figure.
I estimated my word count and it turns out to be different — what happens to the price?
We confirm the final word count from your actual uploaded document and price accordingly. If the real count is lower than your estimate, you pay less; if it's higher, we confirm the difference with you before starting work rather than adjusting it silently afterwards.
Why is Tier C so much more expensive per word than Tier A?
Rarer language pairs mean fewer qualified sworn and specialist translators are available for them — reflected honestly in the per-word rate, rather than hidden inside one flat fee that would overcharge common pairs to subsidise rare ones.
Does the price include the government fee for an apostille?
No. Our €89 handling fee for Apostille & Legalisation Assistance is entirely separate from the government or notarial-college fee for the apostille itself, which we show you at cost once we know which authority your document needs.
Can I get a refund if I cancel after paying?
Yes, on a schedule tied to how far the work has progressed: a full refund if translation hasn't started, a pro-rata refund minus a €15 administrative charge once it has, and no refund once a sworn translation has been stamped, signed and delivered. Full terms are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
