How sworn translation works in Spain
In Spain, the right to certify a traducción jurada is granted individually by the Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores, Unión Europea y Cooperación (MAEC) to translators who pass its examination or hold its recognised qualifications. The appointment is personal and national: a sworn translator’s stamp, signature and certification formula make a translation formally equivalent to its source document for official use anywhere in Spain, regardless of which province appointed them or where the receiving office is. We work with a network of MAEC-appointed sworn translators, matched to each order by language pair, and with subject-matter reviewers for our specialist services. Fast Translation Services is based at C. de Martón y Gavín, 10, Delicias, 50017 Zaragoza, Spain — open Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00, and Saturday, 09:00 to 16:00; closed Sundays. Clients in Zaragoza and Aragón can visit in person, drop off a document, or collect a stamped paper original; everyone else works with us the same way, entirely online — uploading a document, configuring the order, and receiving a digitally signed PDF by email. Neither route changes the price or the validity of what you receive.
